Frédéric Gilli

Frédéric Gilli is the holder of a doctorate in economics, a graduate of ENSAE (École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique), and the winner of the 2010 Young Urban Planner prize, awarded by the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing. He is currently an associate researcher at the Centre d’Études Européennes within Sciences Po, where he lectures, and is an associate director of the agency Campana Eleb Sablic, specialised in change management.

He is the author of a number of articles and works concerning the organisation of productive systems and the geography of employment. In particular, he has written about the geography of industrial channels and value chains in the Paris Basin, the organisation of the Paris metropolitan area and the governance of Greater Paris (Paris, métropole hors les murs : aménager et gouverner le Grand Paris, with Jean-Marc Offner, Presses de Sciences Po, 2009; and Une région de projets : l’avenir de Paris, with Paul Chemetov, La Documentation Française, 2006), while his latest work considers how to boost economic and urban projects using more effective participatory processes (Territoires et innovation, La Documentation Française, 2012).
